Players disconnected while downloading terrain minecraft (2020)

I was thinking of this while revising my Almean scenario for Civ2. When I first got the game, I was enchanted with many scenarios that came with it-- with new graphics and modified rules, it seemed like a dozen new versions of the game. Many players are reporting periods in which they can not join because they repeatedly time out. I have not experienced this myself, but it did occur to a player who was on Skype with me. Additionally, and of greater concern, is the very long wait to "download terrain" that affects nearly every player. I am totally new to minecraft and i have the legit thing and i am a premier member. but when i want to join a server i get this probelm. its version 1.8.1 Minecraft unofficial chat support room Hello doods and welcome back to another video. I don't have poor connection to the server. I usually get good ping, but a few weeks ago, this started happening. The 'proxy.hypixel.net' only works if direct joining hypixel, but if I add it to the server list, it still has the same "downloading terrain" and the disconnection after a few minutes.
